There were two main requests for this kitchen remodel – eliminate the golden oak and remove a portion of the wall to enlarge the narrow, galley style kitchen. Keeping those requests in mind, we opened up the wall wide enough to accommodate a spacious island, extended the cabinetry to create an abundance of countertop prep space, and started fresh with all new finish materials.
The fridge and tall pantry cabinet are neatly tucked behind the portion of wall that remains, keeping them in close proximity to the sink and range for ease of use when cooking. A custom tall cabinet at the end of the kitchen houses the microwave and TV for viewing while seated at the island. The rich, stained cabinetry paired with Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring contrasts beautifully against the Cambria quartz countertops and backsplash. Brushed nickel fixtures complete the look, creating a warm and most importantly, timeless design.
Beyond Kitchens favorite moment:
It’s been fun to see our client’s excitement throughout the entire project. From following along and creating their own floor plans, to expressing how much they love the end result – seeing them happy is why we work so hard at what we do!
