Bobbi and her husband love their 1940's home. They've enjoyed many great moments over their last 10 years. What they don't love is how inefficient a home separated by lots of rooms can be. The idea of a master bedroom and walk-in closet is very different when you're working with an older home and want to honor its history and beauty.
As a lover of clothes, shoes, and something for every season, Bobbi was always searching through piles of clothes stacked in separate rooms to find what she wanted. She decided there had to be a better way; a way to take one of the unused extra bedrooms and turn it into a functional, beautiful, and well-organized closet for her. That's where Beyond Kitchens came in!
Bobbi went to meet with Diane and the team at Beyond Kitchens and began creating the closet she imagined. "I loved their creative ideas and how they helped design something even better than I had imagined", recounts Bobbi. "It was such a fun and smooth process. Everything went so quickly. I don't remember the exact timing, I just know that it flowed and was easy."
Bobbi has 'her' closet and he has 'his' closet now. They both get ready in functional, organized spaces which has made the process of choosing what to wear and getting prepared, in general, much more enjoyable. Bobbi talks about some of the great tips she got from Diane at Beyond Kitchens: "Diane suggested I get all the same hangers and to look for a slimmer profile. I can't believe what a difference it makes. On top of that, I color coordinate and everything is just beautiful."
