It took two islands to capture the full potential of this kitchen. When one family member likes to cook, and the other likes to bake, it was crucial to divide the work zones into two separate spaces. While considering floor plan options, a double island scenario was a no brainer!

Opening the kitchen up to the adjacent living room by removing the walls surrounding a two-sided fireplace, along with increasing the size of the window above the sink made the new space feel bigger and maximized the amount of natural light. With a balanced finish palette including soft gray perimeter cabinets, contrasting islands, a large format concrete-like fireplace tile, and Cambria quartz countertops/backsplash, the result is absolute perfection.
